I grew up in Southern West Virginia listening to Country Music with my grandparents and making “radio shows” on my grandmother’s old tape recorder. I knew then that I really wanted to become a radio DJ. At the age of 16 I started announcing dirt track races at the local speedway. I was eventually hired by the local Country & Southern Gospel radio station. About 5 years ago I moved to North East Ohio and opened a little gift shop on the Chardon Square. I also started announcing for Lake County Speedway where I enjoy announcing Nascar Whelen Auto Racing every Saturday night.
Now I’m back in my roots hosting the evening drive right here on 104.7 WKKY.
Join me weekdays for some good ole fashion fun and today’s greatest hits.
